Let's look at some things that impacts our health and what we can do on purpose to set ourselves and families up for success. When you hear the word "healthy" what do you first think about?
Is it the activities that are considered healthy like exercise and good nutrition? Do you consider the relationship between your physical, mental and spiritual health? What about things that effect your health?
Let's briefly go through two things that effect your health: toxicity and deficiency. We need to decrease toxicity and supplement deficiency. Toxicity can be from your environment like the products in your home, toiletries, etc., it can be in the form of parasites, it can be from the food you eat and/or how you handle stress. While deficiency deals with what your body doesn't have but needs to function optimally. Deficiency can be helped through supplementation of nutrients, vitamins, minerals, etc. or from supporting organ function so they operate in a way that utilizes what it has optimally through detoxes and cleanses.
Do you know that the USA has toxic chemicals in products that have been banned in other countries already? The number 2 cause of death in the United States is cancer. 1 in 3 cases in the U.S. are directly linked to poor diet, physical inactivity, weight, or chemical exposure. The American Cancer Society says only 5 to 10 percent of all cancer cases are from gene defects – That means that 90-95% of cancer cases have to do with our choices and what we allow into our homes. What happens when your body is toxic and chemically overloaded? You may see it in something as catastrophic as cancer. There are many things our bodies need to function optimally.
